My work in ceramics can be clearly divided into two different categories.

The first area can be identified as fine art. This work tends to be more installation led, site specific and political or socially relevant in nature. Through this type of work I can investigate and make relevant and intellectually engaging comments on all aspects of life and culture.

The second area can be identified as design or craft led with a more commercial orientation. I utilise a variety of different making methods to create these bodies of work -from slipcast porcelain which I manipulate afterwards through to slab building and coiling of earthenware.
