Caitlin and Andrew Webb-Ellis

Andrew and Caitlin's work seeks to confront established presumptions about the way we view art and the role it plays in society. Often bringing the gallery visitor into the work as simultaneously subject and viewer, they cause us to consider the meaning of the work in terms of our own experiences.

Their installations seek to bridge the barrier of the gallery space, extending the reach of the screen and immersing the viewer in a new space.

Working both with film and installation their practice centers around the tension between fiction and reality, challenging traditional notions of documentary truth.
