Kieran Paul Crowder

An exhibition from September 16th to October 25th 2003
Tuesday to Saturday 10 - 1pm & 2 - 5pm
Free Admission

Our new exhibition is a solo show by acclaimed artist Kieran Crowder. Kieran comes from a background in the military and his experiences in the Falklands War have influenced his
work as an artist.

As a painter he is largely self-taught though he gained technical experience through working alongside professional artists, including Miles Peter Richmond, founder member of the Borough Group and pupil of the great David Bomberg.

Kieran says "My primary focus is on the inner experience of the individuals who engage with the art I produce. It follows that my pricipal themes are both intimate and universal - life, death, memory and desire."

Kieran has held previous solo shows at MASS in Brixton and at Karen Taylor Contemporary Art. He is currently studying for a PhD at the Royal College of Art.

The paintings are being shown in two venues: Crescent Arts and the historic church of St. Martins on the Hill.

Kieran will also be holding a performance relating to the exhibition. This will take place at 6.30pm the evening of the preview at Crescent Arts.

Please contact the Crescent Arts Exhibition Team, Patrick, Dawn, Andrew, for more information.

Preview Saturday 13th September 2003, 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
