"Here in centre frame, there’s only air"
My strong desire to paint increases by the day, some nights I can not sleep, my mind still working overtime. It is nice when the painting takes over, Surrendering yourself to art, then coming back.
When I paint I am at most alive, my mind becomes flooded with peace, divine thoughts of calm a spontaneous flow. My fulfilment of joy. A oneness of love, love and peace, peace with nature, nature wants peace, our wisdom is nature. Beauty of the painting. Paintings of light-light as the source of all life and energy, as it is of all colours. Forces of unconscious inspiration.
I produce paintings that are based towards abstraction. My work has no direct association with any particular visual experience. Every shape becomes an organic entity. Inviting the multiplicity of associations inherent in all living things, Unique elements in a unique situation.
Line and colour begin to take on an independent existence. Lines break away creating dynamism and setting up rhythms, which act and interact across the surface. Colour alone expresses form. In terms of flat planes parallel to the picture surface, hovering in a indeterminate space. Objects and landscapes are no longer lit from an outside source: the light comes from the colour itself, vivid spectrums refresh the senses move with internal freedom, without need to conform with or to violate what is probable in the familiar world. Consciousness, hardly aware of itself beyond the will to live.
At the moment I have had an Exhibition at the Scarborough Art Gallery. Also in Glasgow at the Art House Hotel.
My work is influenced by intimate human emotions. The paintings of Mark Rothko. The Words of Anne Frank, and the amazing energy we call life.

HERE ARE A FEW OF MY POEMS
Storm
Alone with the sky
In thy arms of nature
Great Sorrow in body
helplessness in mind
storm of struggle from all reason
Screams From History's past
Try to keep afloat
In deep tones of anguish
a swirling mass
For we may not touch them not
No, we may not stop the cruelty
We may not stop the hatred of our yesterday
For the victims of the holocaust
Humanity failed in a catastrophic way
Alone with the sky
In thy arms of nature

Minutes from somewhere else.
Can you still feel the butterflies
did you see the sun. it's shining.
Here you can be anything
Your sky now always deep blue.
Here in centre frame, there's only air
there is a lovely breeze, just for you.
What you wished for will someday come true.
Can you still hear daddy's last goodnight.
Minutes from somewhere else.
I close my eyes and believe,
believe he’s with you.
Anne I believe,
wherever you are
the hopes that you carried
fell into our hearts and live on.

Sleeping in blue
Canvas upon wood, I to you
Tone upon tone, give me reason
heart and soul, body and mind
Awaken, eyes open, mind in complex thought
Somewhere so far away from here
look and explore the picture plane
of colour, they run to you,
an open door to an open mind
flat forms destroy illusion and reveal truth
my attempt to escape from evil.
In melancholy and loneliness
canvases of colours call for your companionship
Time on this world so out of joint
from the nothing into the infinite
look to you as you do they
among sadness of history, of war
tones weep from the hart and soul
sleeping in blue, heartbreaking words from 1942
dreaming of abstract
painting into the arms of reason
gazing into the infinite
this unknown, the very reason to be.
something that has always been inside the
soul of my maker, the unexplainable feeling
to express, I take your companionship
and frame it, then take shape into your eyes
expanding, I see you for the first time,
I see you so far away
somewhere so far away from here.
