CALL OUT: LGBTQ+ Community Connector and Workshop Facilitator Role
CALL OUT! We are looking for an LGBTQ+ community connector and workshop facilitator role to work with us in the delivery of two LGBTQ+ heritage workshops.
We are looking for a community connector and workshop facilitator to help us produce and deliver two workshops on LGBTQ+ heritage.
Responsibilities of the role are henceforth:
The role of Community Connector & Workshop Facilitator will deliver the role and project as agreed:
- Connect with community participants to invite them to the sessions, with the help of Crescent Arts staff. These can be collectives, grassroots groups ect.
- Plan engaging and publicly accessible workshops based on queer heritage and history.
- Creatively engage with the brief to produce a unique and engaging workshop.
- Facilitate and deliver the workshops with the community members, with the assistance of Crescent Arts staff.
- Participating in any marketing that is required for the exhibition.
- Participation in the project’s evaluation and marketing might be required.
Breakdown of the sessions:
This contract is for 6 days of work @ 316.82 per day – a total of £1,900.02
Plus a £150 budget for material fees.
- 3 days of community connecting.
- 1 day of workshop planning.
- 2 days of workshop delivery.
Please note: one of these workshops will be filmed in the process of making a film.
The freelancer is responsible for managing their own time in accordance with the delivery of the agreed tasks outlined in this contract.
